Our Services

Delivering high-quality solar installations to the Greater Western Sydney region

Let’s be honest. We’re not one of those solar companies that you see on Facebook or late-night TV, spruiking too-good-to-be-true installation offers with free panels and free wifi for only $3,000.

Why?

Because those too-good-to-be-true installation offers are exactly that. And more often than not, the lower price of those deals comes down to lower quality gear, lower quality workmanship and, ultimately, lower performing systems.

When you make the investment to install solar power at your home or commercial property, you want to see results. You want to see your system producing energy efficiently and you want to see the numbers on your electricity bill drop. You want your investment to work hard for you — and you want it to last.

At Axford Solar, we pride ourselves on using only the highest quality solar energy products and delivering the highest quality service. Our business is driven by durability, reliability and value, ensuring you get the most out of your solar investment.

Want to make sure your solar system is producing as much energy as it should be?

It’s time to book in an inspection and cleaning.

Solar panels get dirty — yes, even the ones that claim they are self-cleaning. Whether it’s dust from neighbouring construction work, leaves, fungus or bird droppings, your solar panels need to be cleaned regularly to ensure they’re performing at their peak.

The Australian Standards for the installation of solar panels (AS5033) also recommend inspecting and testing the electrical connections, current and voltage, fuses, switches, safety devices, mounting system, wiring and mechanical protection at least once a year.

Enjoy peace of mind that your system is operating efficiently with our fully licensed and insured maintenance, cleaning and testing service, which includes a written condition report.

Solar system controlled automation

Want to get more out of the power generated by your solar system?

We can install a controlled automation device which will send any excess power generated by your solar system to your hot water system, eliminating the need to buy power from the grid.

The device monitors how much solar you are producing and how much power you are consuming, then calculates the excess power available to be diverted to your hot water system. If it’s been a cloudy day and your system does not have enough excess solar power to divert to the hot water system, the device can be programmed to buy power from the grid by a set time. This way, you can rest assured that you will always have hot water available.

Solar system monitoring

Traditionally, the only way to know when your solar system was not performing optimally was when you received a big quarterly electricity bill. But now, we have access to monitoring devices that can show you how much solar is being produced and alert you if something is wrong.

While most new solar inverters come with a monitoring system, many older solar inverters don’t have this capability. If you have an older systems, you can install a monitoring device to track your solar production and power consumption — no more nasty surprises in your power bills!
